Who We Are
At Ning Hills Tea, we are not just tea makers—we are a family, deeply connected to the land we call home. Our tea garden rests at 37°N in Weihai, China, where the sea breeze meets the rolling hills, and the soil has nurtured generations before us.
We don’t believe in shortcuts. No artificial flavors, no unnecessary additives—just pure, slow-grown tea, shaped by the land, the seasons, and the hands that tend to it. We know this soil, the way it changes with the years, the scent it carries after rain. This is where mist rises with the morning, where tea plants take their time to grow, and flavor runs deeper.
We grew up here. This land raised us as much as it raised tea. I still remember sitting on the stone steps with my grandfather, playing chess under the old pine tree, sipping freshly brewed tea as the cicadas buzzed in the heat. The same hands that once taught me how to hold a chess piece also taught me how to pick tea—gently, with care, respecting what the land gives.
From our farm to your cup, this is tea as it should be—real, honest, and full of soul.

-
37°N | The Perfect Latitude for Premium Tea
Located at 37°N in eastern Shandong, our tea garden lies in a low-mountain region (100–182m altitude) surrounded by mountains and lakes. With a warm temperate oceanic climate, 75% humidity, and 730mm annual rainfall, the area offers ideal sunlight, moisture, and seasonal balance for growing premium tea.
-
Climate & Flavor | The Secret to a Rich, Smooth Taste
The significant day-night temperature difference (10°C+ in spring & autumn) enhances the accumulation of amino acids, flavonoids, and catechins, giving the tea its signature chestnut aroma and rich aftertaste.
-
100% Natural | Chemical-Free Cultivation
Naturally selenium-rich soil nourishes our tea plants. We use only natural fertilizers, while the cool climate and rich biodiversity naturally control pests. Cold northern winters trigger the release of VOCs like linalool and nerol—enhancing aroma and acting as natural pest deterrents, with no need for pesticides.
